Lasankas

Lasankas occupy a worthy place in European cuisine. This dish originated from the Polish-Lithuanian state and still used in the national cuisine of the Baltic countries, Poland and Belarus. However, due to the similarity in the name with Italian lasagna it is likely that the lazelas came to Poland thanks to Queen Bona Sforza - Italian, who was the wife of King Sigismund I. Bona brought many Italian products to Poland, especially vegetables and pasta.
